Planning a child’s birthday party is a bit like preparing for an expedition: you need a venue, a team, supplies… and a Plan B in case it rains. The good news is that with a little organization (and the right venue), the party becomes a pleasure for parents, too. Here’s our step-by-step guide.
1. Choose a date 3 to 4 weeks in advance
Wednesday afternoons and weekends fill up fast, especially in the fall and winter. Booking early ensures you get the perfect time slot—and gives your guests time to make arrangements. At Kids Fun Park, you can book online in just a few clicks for our centers in Etoy, Sion, and Martigny.
2. The guest list: the golden rule
A tip that regulars know: the child’s age plus one guest. For a 6-year-old, seven friends are more than enough to have a party. Beyond that, plan on one adult chaperone for every eight children or so.
3. The place: home… or peace and quiet
At home, you have to plan the entertainment, the decorations, the snacks—and the cleanup. At an indoor play center, everything is provided: unlimited play no matter the weather, a private birthday party room reserved for 2 hours, unlimited drinks, and a team that takes care of the setup. You arrive, the kids have fun, and you relax.
4. The Cake and the Snack

5. The Little Details That Matter
- Please confirm the final number of children no later than 7 days before the party.
- Socks are required for everyone in the park—please include this in the invitation.
- Set aside 10 minutes at the end of the party to hand out the goody bags.
